He’d be behind Plax and Toomer, and most likely in the same position he was with the Rams (the 3rd receiver). Throw Moss into the mix and it was probably a bit too crowded for his liking. But of course the clincher is always money, and the Eagles threw a big contract at him. With Stallworth gone, he’ll compete for the #1 spot there and certainly be the #2 guy. Also, I called him “3rd or 4th” receiver, which was not totally fair. I think he is an ideal #3, slot receiver. He’ll have to prove he is a one or two receiver with the Birds.
