LB Lance Briggs (Bears) and CB Asante Samuel (Patriots) both got the tag and basically become untouchable for this season, unless someone surrenders two first round picks which isn’t going to happen. Getting both anyway would have been unrealistic, but I got the feeling if Briggs hit the market as unrestricted the Giants would have made a big play for him. One guy I have my eye on is Kansas City MLB Kawika Mitchell.
